My YouTube 101 Tutorial: www.youtube.com Want to have your video HD and widescreen? Make sure your output is 720p, ie 1280×720. You’re also going to want to compress it so you aren’t uploading a huge file – use h.264 at 1500-2500 kbps. For more detailed instructions, click here: www.freddiew.com After you upload, be patient – YouTube needs time to process it before it throws up the “Watch in HD” link. I use Final Cut Pro and a smattering of After Effects when necessary. Music/Sound is Logic. But remember! The program doesn’t make your movie for you – if you’ve got the fundamentals down, you could use iMovie on an old iMac and still rock faces. Stupid YouTube wanting to revert to 4:3 resolution. Sometimes you gotta use some FORCE. Featured in Hong Kong. That’s because Hong Kong knows what’s up. Chief Armoror Brandon Laatsch and Black Bar Wrangler Matt Arnold once again to the rescue for this one.
In this video I show how to transform a simple candy dispensing toy into a miniature ballistic knife. As seen in the demonstration at the start of the video, the knife is quite powerful for its size. The blade is made very lightweight which gives it only a minor amount of penetrating power, but because it weighs so little it is able to fly quite a long distance. There is enough force in the projectile to plant it firmly into cardboard or wooden targets at a distance of 15 feet or greater. While it is a very entertaining device when directed downrange at a cardboard shooting gallery, ballistic knives are inherently dangerous and should be treated as such. This knife will penetrate skin, and almost certainly penetrate eyes deeply enough to cause blindness. Safety glasses are absolutely required. Though I provide information on how this knife is made for entertainment, I cannot recommend that anyone make it themselves. There are no safety features, meaning the knife can very easily fire accidentally if the button is pressed, or if the blade is knocked off the lip it rests on. There may also be some legal concerns about owning ballistic knives depending on what part of the world you are in. In the USA they are not prohibited to own on a federal level, but there may be stricter regulation in various state laws. It is almost certainly illegal to carry any ballistic knife in public places, and even if not, it would be a terrible idea. For those interested in the federal laws …
